1. No purchase is necessary to play or win. The Sweepstakes is open only to U.S. residents 18 years or older at the time of entry. Officers, directors, and employees of North Jersey Media Group Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families and/or those living in the same household as any of the foregoing individuals are not eligible.
2. Entry available online by logging onto www.parsippanylife.com, clinking the link for the Dining out giveaway , and completing and submitting the online entry form. If a dispute arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the natural holder of the e-mail account from which the entry was sent.
3. To be eligible for the random drawing online entries must be received by Friday October 31, 2008 12:00 ( noon) P.M. E.S.T. Only fully completed entry forms will be considered. North Jersey Media Group Inc. and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, representatives, and agents, are not responsible for lost, stolen, ineligible, late, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, misdirected, erroneous, defective, inaccurate, illegible, postage-due mail/entries, for failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software, or for any other technical malfunctions, disturbances, communications failures, or circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants’ ability to participate in Sweepstakes or circumstances affecting, disrupting, or corrupting of the Sweepstakes in any manner. All entries become the exclusive property of North Jersey Media Group Inc., and will not be returned.
4. Five Winners (receiving 2 tickets each) will be selected from all eligible entries received or electronically submitted, in a random drawing to be conducted by North Jersey Media Group Inc., the publisher of Parsippany Life, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5. The winners will be notified by telephone/Email to the number on the Entry Form within one (24) hours of the selection. Winners may be required to pick up prize at North Jersey Media Group Inc.’s discretion. The winners may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within seven (7) days of attempted notification. If winner fails to respond within specified time period, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing. 7. Entry constitutes agreement to hold North Jersey Media Group Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize(s). North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this Sweepstakes at its sole discretion if it becomes aware of any event that could materially affect its security or fairness. NJMG’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
8. Any tampering with the online Sweepstakes in any manner is prohibited. North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the online Sweepstakes has been tampered with. NJMG reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the sponsor suspects or has found, in its sole discretion, to have tampered with the Sweepstakes, submitted multiple entries or submitted entries using any automated means. In the event NJMG determines the Sweepstakes has been tampered with, the Sweepstakes will end. If NJMG determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside NJMG’s control comprise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, NJMG reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the relevant portion of the Sweepstakes.
9. No substitution, transfer, exchange or cash redemption of prize(s) is permitted, except at the sole discretion of North Jersey Media Group Inc. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes and/or fees.
10. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in New York, Florida, and elsewhere where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
11. Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms and by the decision of the judges. Acceptance of prize also constitutes permission to use the winner(s)’s name and likeness for advertising or promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
