Donald J. Kovar

Donald J. Kovar, 77, of Rockaway Township, died on Dec. 15 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Jan. 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 63 East Main Street, Rockaway.
Donald was born on Sept. 3, 1931. He was a former U.S. Marine in the Korean War and retired from General Drafting in Madison after 40 years of employment. Donald is survived by his wife Judith; his children Kelley Kjekstad and her husband Steven, Chris Kovar and his wife Alicia; and his grandchildren Kristine and Eric Kjekstad and Brendan Kovar, all of Rockaway Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Donald M. Swenson, Sr.

Donald M. Swenson, Sr., 76, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18 after a long brave battle with cancer.
Mr. Swenson was born in Orange and was a resident of Lake Hopatcong for the past three years.  He previously lived in Rockaway for over 43 years. Mr. Swenson served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was  a Sr. Claims Adjuster with Motors Insurance for 26 years and the was employed with Hibernia Auto Restoration for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Donna H. Swenson, of Lake Hopatcong and his son, Donald M. Swenson, Jr., of Lake Hopatcong as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services. Donations can be made to the Jefferson Rescue Squad, P.O.Box 300, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

Parsippany

Norma G. Bizzaro

Norma G. (Padavano) Bizzaro, age 85, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19 at her home.
She was born in Boonton and lived in Parsippany for 41 years. She then lived in Spring Lake for 8 years before moving to Roselle Park 9 years ago.
Norma was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Rosary Society at Saint Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany.
Norma was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick R. who passed away on Sept. 16, 1989.
Survivors include her loving children: Frederick J. of Ocean, John P. of Wharton, and Judith Bizzaro of Roselle Park; her dear sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Americo Pallante of East Hanover; her four cherished grandchildren: Nichole Benson and her husband Matt, Danielle Drury, Toni Marie Bizzaro, and Angelo Bizzaro; and her treasured great-grandson, Evan Benson.
Arrangements were under the direction of The Par-Troy Funeral Home.
