RIDEPROVIDE
RIDEPROVIDE, a new non-profit senior transportation program from TransOptions, is accepting applications from residents of Parsippany. RIDEPROVIDE is a personalized, low cost, transportation option for seniors age 60 and above, and people with physical disabilities who are capable of getting in and out of a car with minimal assistance. Complete an application and pay $25 membership fee. Zone-based fares charged. LIFELONG EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
Parsippany LIVE (Lifelong Involvement for Vital Elders) Lifelong Employment at the Senior Center, 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha is a free program open to Parsippany residents over 60. The Lifelong Employment Program, coordinated by Marian Lowenfish of the Jewish Vocational Service, assists seniors with job placement at no fee. ST. CHRISTOPHER’S EXPERIENCED CLUB

EXERCISE CLASSES
Exercise classes are offered to all older adults at the Parsippany Community Center, 1130 Knoll Rd., Lake Hiawatha. These fun, effective classes will improve overall fitness and well-being. Programs offer exercises that build strength, increase flexibility and improve balance. Classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for only $3 each. PROJECT HEALTHY BONES
Project Healthy Bones meets on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. at Parsippany Senior Center. Low-impact exercise program, designed for both women and men who have been diagnosed with or at risk for osteoporosis. Classes are taught by volunteers from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and it is part of Parsippany LIVE. Lakeland Hills Family YMCA invites seniors to a picnic at their outdoor pavilion on June 12 for hamburgers and hot dogs. It’s free and Y membership is not required. SENIOR SUBWAY, INC.
Senior Subway, Inc., a non-profit organization, provides transportation to Senior Citizens. Transportation is free to those attending religious services or other church events (churches, temples, synagogues). All other rides are $5 (round trip). MONTVILLE SENIORS CLUB
Montville Senior Citizens’ Club meets at the Senior House on the first and third Fridays of the month. Any Montville resident age 55 or older can join the club, located on Route 202 south next to the police station. They enjoy many activities. Come in at noon and have a cup of coffee and cake.
